Sharara Sets for Women: the Shirt, the Sharara and the Dupatta
A sharara set comes as a shirt, wide flared sharara pants and a dupatta, and on some designs the embroidery carries on down to the sharara hem. Shadi Dress sews each guest set from branded fabric bought directly from Pakistani labels, only after you order, in a standard size or a Customized Size made to your measurements. Pick chiffon or organza for a light flare, zari net for shimmer, or silk and velvet for weight. Guest sets arrive at any US address in up to 18 calendar days. Choose a design and your size, then order on the product page.

What comes in a sharara set
- The shirt: an embroidered front, back and sleeves, often finished with borders at the neckline, cuffs and hem. Where a design offers sleeve lining, half or full lining is free.
- The sharara: pants cut wide from the hip, often in dyed raw silk or crushed jamawar, with an embroidered border at the hem on many label designs.
- The dupatta: chiffon, tissue, organza or net, often with embroidered borders.
Sharara or palazzo: how the cut differs
All three are wide pants, and the cut is what tells them apart. A sharara flares straight from the hip and swings like a skirt. A gharara fits close to the knee and flares below it; for the bride, see our bridal gharara styles. A palazzo is cut wide but falls straight, with far less volume. For a wedding or Eid, the sharara gives you the most movement.
Pick the fabric for the event
For a summer day event or a mehndi with dancing, chiffon is the lightest choice and moves the most; it is often sequined. Organza is crisp and shows embroidery sharply. Zari net and tissue net are sheer, usually lined, with metallic thread in the weave. For an evening reception or a winter wedding, raw silk and tussar silk have more body, and velvet adds real warmth.
There are Nikkah sharara sets for the bride’s ceremony, mehndi sharara outfits for her mehndi, our Eid dresses, and the full range of Pakistani outfits for wedding guests. Or shop by color: white shararas, cream shararas, gold shararas, yellow shararas, orange shararas, pink shararas, red shararas, lilac shararas, blue shararas, green shararas and black shararas.
Why choose Shadi Dress for sharara sets
Fit is where a sharara set goes right or wrong, so Shadi Dress settles it before sewing: the workshop works in inches, the product page asks for your height without shoes as well as your size, and each guest set is sewn only after you order. On guest sets, approved size changes and feasible style changes cost nothing extra, including a longer shirt where the design allows. Ask, and you get a video of the finished set before it ships, showing the shirt, sharara and dupatta together. Import charges are normally prepaid by us; if a courier ever asks you for customs, duty or tax, send us the receipt and we refund the verified amount.
Sizing and shipping
Depending on the design, choose a standard size from our size chart, going up a size if you are between two, or a Customized Size sewn exactly to the measurements you send; our team contacts you after you order to collect them. Guest outfits arrive in up to 18 calendar days, counted from the day after you order, with sewing and shipping included. Rush Delivery and Super Rush Delivery are not normally available on guest wear, so message us on WhatsApp before ordering for a close date. Shararas made for the bride ship on bridal timelines, listed on each product page. Details are on our shipping information page.
Sharara set questions
Is a sharara set the same as a sharara suit?
Yes. Both names describe the same outfit: a shirt, flared sharara pants and a dupatta. The sizing, changes and shipping terms are the same for each. Check the shirt length on each product page, and ask us if you want it longer.
Can I return a guest sharara set if it doesn’t fit?
No. We cut and sew each set for one customer, so it cannot be returned or exchanged once it ships. Guest orders can be canceled within 12 hours for a full refund; after that and before dispatch, 35% of the amount paid is deducted.
How much does a sharara set cost?
Each design lists its price in US dollars, and the grid sorts from low to high. The fabric and how much of the shirt, sharara and dupatta are embroidered explain the difference between designs. What you see is the price of the set sewn to your size, with no charge for approved size or feasible style changes.
