Shop Pakistani Bridal Gowns, One-Piece or Front-Open

A Pakistani wedding gown is one long piece with a fitted bodice, a full skirt and a dupatta, or a gown that opens at the front over a lehenga, and its name changes with the cut. Ours are embroidered in our own workshops, in work such as dabka, zari and pearls, and sewn after you order, in a standard size or a Custom Size, with or without a trail. Shades run from ivory, silver and ice blue to baby pink, peach and deep red. See our Indian bridal gowns for other cuts.

Maxi, gown or front-open: the names explained

In Pakistani bridal wear the words overlap. “Maxi” usually means a flowing, full-length dress; “gown” a more structured piece with a defined waist and a fuller skirt. Many use kalis, panels that widen toward the hem; increasing the panel count makes the flare rounder, while a full-circle cut creates a different spread. A front-open gown adds a layered look by revealing an embroidered lehenga where the outer panels separate below the waist.

Trail, length and weight

A trail makes the entrance and the stage photos, but picture the whole day: steps, photos, dinner. A floor-length hem without a trail is easier to manage, and an ankle-length front-open gown moves the most freely. Heavy embroidery hangs from the shoulders and waist, so a lighter dupatta keeps the look balanced.
