Mina Hasan Bridal Dresses USA (Inspired Versions)
Mina Hasan bridal dresses often start with a jamawar lehenga under a sheer silk net shirt. That brocade base carries pattern by itself, which leaves the handwork free to gather on the bodice and borders. Shadi Dress workshops make every inspired version shown here. The label has no part in them. The palette reaches past red into plum and peach, and grey even appears for Walima. Every order is sewn from scratch to the bride’s measurements, wherever in the US the wedding takes place. Check each listing for its pieces and fabrics.

About Mina Hasan
Based in Karachi, Mina Hasan runs the label that bears her name. Its website describes a luxury house where bridals, including Soraya Bridals ’25, sit beside formals and pret. Several current bridal pieces are presented as contemporary in style but traditional in their handwork. Jamawar and lamé appear alongside silk net.
Jamawar Under Silk Net
We start with the base cloth. Jamawar is a brocade with its pattern woven in, so a lehenga cut from it looks finished even before embroidery. Silk net on top gives the handwork a lighter ground. Zardozi, dabka and nakshi then build the surface, with baroque and floral motifs concentrated on the bodice. Borders carry the weight. A pishwas in jamawar with a heavy gold border is one version, and its flare shows the brocade at full width. Brides who prefer sheen to pattern can look at lamé tissue instead.
Two Dupattas, Two Jobs
Several references pair the main dupatta with a separate drape dupatta. The main one can be a four-border piece with chhan details, spread across the shoulders so its embroidery shows in photographs. The drape goes over the head. That split lets you keep the heavier layer on the shoulders for the stage and wear the finer one alone later in the evening. Two layers do add weight at the crown, so plan the pinning in advance.
Colors Beyond Red
Red and gold remains the customary Baraat pairing, and a bridal lehenga in jamawar gives it depth. Plum is darker and flatters evening light. For the Walima, grey is the unexpected choice. On lamé tissue with dense floral layers it looks formal without repeating the Baraat color. More second-event ideas sit among our Walima dresses. Silk net is see-through. That makes accurate shoulder and bust figures important, and if the design you pick includes that customization option, the sleeves may be lengthened. Other designer houses have separate pages within Pakistani bridal dresses.
Separate From the Mina Hasan Label
These pieces do not come from the Mina Hasan label. The label has not given Shadi Dress any official retail or distribution rights, and the two businesses have no partnership or affiliation. The outfits are designer-inspired, not original branded garments. Bridal wear sits at the center of Shadi Dress, and experienced artisans make every piece in our own workshops.
