Shop Anarkali Suits and Gowns, from Ankle to Floor
Anarkali suits and anarkali gowns share one silhouette, a fitted bodice that opens into a skirt cut in panels, and length is the main difference: at ankle length the pants show below the hem, while a floor-length gown covers them and reads more formal. We sew yours in Shadi Dress’s own workshops after you order, in chiffon, organza, net or silk with embroidered borders, in a standard size or Custom Size where offered. Guest anarkalis reach US addresses in up to 18 calendar days. Bridal pieces follow separate production and delivery schedules. Choose a design and a size, then order.

Ankle length or floor length?
Choose the length by the event and by your shoes. An ankle-length anarkali shows a slim line of pants and a little of your heels, so it stays easy to move and dance in through a long evening. A floor-length anarkali gown hides both and gives the cleaner, more formal line for a reception or an evening wedding. The hem is the catch: a floor-length skirt falls correctly only at the heel height it was cut for, so pick your shoes first and take your length measurement wearing them.
Where the flare comes from
The skirt of an anarkali is built from kalis, tapering panels sewn edge to edge. The number of panels varies by design. Embroidered borders around the hem add weight so the panels fall in folds, and on some designs a cancan underneath holds the flare out. The front runs straight, with no crossover; for a wrap that ties at the side, see our side-tied angrakha designs, and for the fuller bridal take on the same shape, our bridal pishwas collection.
Fabric by season
Chiffon and net are the summer fabrics: light and airy. Organza is crisper and keeps the panels standing out, and tissue adds a crisp metallic sheen. Raw silk and medium silk carry more weight, which suits fall and winter weddings. If you would rather wear a straight kameez, see our salwar kameez; for a long dress in one line, our Pakistani maxi dresses; and for every other look, our Pakistani outfits for wedding guests.
Getting the fit right from the US
Our workshop works in inches, so your own tape measure works; centimeters are shown for reference. Standard sizes run from XS to XL; if your measurements span sizes, check the size chart or choose Custom Size where offered. Custom Size, on designs that offer it, is stitched exactly to the measurements you send, which also covers plus sizes. Our size chart shows how to measure.
Delivery, customs and cancellations
Guest anarkali orders reach US addresses in up to 18 calendar days, counted from the day after you order and covering both stitching and shipping. Guest delivery costs $9.99 and is free on orders of $200 or more. Rush Delivery and Super Rush Delivery are not normally available for guest wear, so order at least three weeks ahead. If the courier or customs authority charges duty or tax, you may need to pay it to receive your parcel; contact us afterward with the invoice and proof of payment to request reimbursement of the verified amount. Our US shipping page has the details.
Why choose Shadi Dress for anarkali gowns and suits
An anarkali gown has to be right in length as well as size, and stitching after the order helps with both. On designs that offer Custom Size, we cut and sew the anarkali exactly to the measurements you send, length included, and approved size changes and feasible style changes cost nothing extra on these branded guest outfits. You can ask for a full video of the finished outfit before it ships. The cutting and sewing happen in our own workshops, more than 25 of them across Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
Anarkali questions
Does an anarkali suit come with pants and a dupatta?
An anarkali suit is a three-piece outfit of kameez, pants and dupatta, and each product page lists exactly which pieces you get. A floor-length anarkali gown can come with its dupatta and a belt instead of pants, so check the pieces before you order if you want trousers underneath.
Can I ask a question before I order?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp or by email about the length, the fit or the pieces in a design before you order.
What if I change my mind after ordering?
You can cancel a guest order within 12 hours for a full refund. After that, and before dispatch, 35% of the amount paid is deducted. Guest outfits cannot be returned or exchanged once dispatched. Approved refunds go back to the payment method you used within up to 15 business days.
