What each layer covers
- Pishwas over a lehenga: a fitted bodice that flares to the ankle or floor, so waist and hips sit under one garment while the lehenga hem shows below.
- Kameez over a gharara: the shirt falls toward the knee, and the gharara, close-fitting to the knee and flared below, keeps the shape of the legs hidden; the farshi cut adds a hem that pools on the floor.
- Open gown over a lehenga: a long front-open layer that keeps the back and sides covered while the embroidered skirt shows at the front.
- Long shirt or kurti over a lehenga: the simplest way to cover the waist and keep the full skirt.
- Dupatta: the layer for your hair; 3.5-yard and longer dupattas, and two-dupatta sets, depend on the design.
A lehenga choli is the exception, because its short blouse leaves the waist bare. If you love the full skirt, look at our pishwas designs for brides, or ask before ordering whether the blouse can be lengthened; any change is priced before work begins.
Arabic-style wedding dresses with South Asian handwork
For an Arabic-style wedding look, choose a gown or maxi with full sleeves, a boat, round or high neckline and a trail, and wear a long dupatta or veil over your hijab. Our versions are embroidered in our workshops in Pakistan, where dabka and zari can be combined with pearls, beads, sequins or small stones, so the finish is South Asian rather than Middle Eastern couture. Organza or net layers can sit over a full skirt, held out by a cancan layer where the design has one.
Checking sleeves, neckline and sheer fabric
Check three things on each product page before you order: whether net or organza sleeves have something beneath them, whether the neckline is boat, round or high rather than V or sweetheart, and whether the back is closed or cut deep. If one of them is wrong for you, ask for the change first. Bridal designs offer Full Custom Design, and anything that adds fabric, embroidery or labor is priced for your approval before work starts.
Planning a modest look for each event
For the Nikkah, choose sleeves that stay at the wrist and a dupatta that can be secured over your hair; see our Nikkah collection. For the Baraat, a pishwas or long shirt over a lehenga keeps the fuller bridal silhouette while covering the waist. For the Walima, apply the same sleeve, neckline, back and sheer-fabric checks; browse our outfits for the Walima.
Sewn to your size in our own workshops
Nothing is cut until you order. Pick a standard size from our size guide, or choose Custom Size and we sew exactly to the measurements you send; after you order, our team reaches out for the full set. Measurements are taken in inches, and if you fall between two sizes, take the larger one. While your dress is in production, you can ask for progress photos and close-up videos. Every piece is cut, embroidered and stitched in workshops we run ourselves in Pakistan, where close to 200 people work; we have made bridal wear since 2013 and served more than 20,000 customers.

Muslim wedding dress questions
Do these outfits work with a hijab?
Yes, if you choose the neckline with the hijab in mind: boat, round and high necklines lie flat under it. A matching or neutral underscarf keeps your hair covered if the dupatta slips, and with a two-dupatta design, one can frame your face while the second falls over your shoulders.
What should guests wear to a Muslim wedding?
Full sleeves, an ankle-length hem and a scarf or dupatta for the Nikkah make a practical base. For non-bridal options, see our dresses for wedding guests.
How much does an Islamic wedding dress cost?
The price is shown on every dress, and you can sort the page by price, low to high or high to low. A coverage change that adds fabric, embroidery or labor is quoted separately before work starts, and delivery upgrades cost extra only if you choose them.
Can bridesmaids wear the same style?
Yes. Bridal designs can be ordered for sisters and bridesmaids too, with the same coverage changes, so the bridal party can coordinate its look. For outfits made for the bridal party, see our bridesmaid looks.
