Shazia Kiyani Bridal Dresses USA (Inspired Versions)

Shazia Kiyani bridal dresses borrow from Mughal buildings. Arched doorways and palace latticework turn up in the embroidery, usually worked in antiqued gold on crimson. Every piece here is our interpretation, stitched in Shadi Dress workshops. Nothing here comes from the studio itself. Farshi lehengas under straight shirts and a trail gown over a tissue lehenga give the bridals their main shapes. Crimson dominates, but tangerine and fuchsia appear too. We cut each one after you order, from your measurements, for a US wedding in any state. Listings show every piece.

About Shazia Kiyani

The Shazia Kiyani label began in Islamabad in 2008 with formals and now runs two outlets in Lahore. Its runway record includes shows at Pakistan Fashion Week London and appearances at Bridal Couture Week. The studio describes its hallmarks as “voguish cuts and classic techniques steeped in tradition,” and it also makes sherwanis for grooms.

Mughal Arches in Gold Thread

We read that architecture into the surface. On a deep crimson base, antiqued gold zardozi and resham trace arches across the lehenga, while dabka fills the dupatta border. Latticework and jaal suit a lehenga with a wide flare, because the pattern needs room. One reference combines nine embroidery techniques in a single outfit, among them tambour and marori, so the texture changes as you move closer. Crystals sit mainly on the blouse, near the face. Fire-silk gives the base a slight sheen under all that metal.

Farshi Lehenga or Trail Gown

For Baraat, the farshi lehenga recurs across recent bridals. A straight maroon-red shirt over a farshi lehenga, with copper-gold work on the front, sleeves and dupatta hem, keeps the look traditional while the skirt trails. The trail gown takes another route: red net worked with kora, dabka and French knots, over a tissue lehenga. Our bridal gowns show more trailing silhouettes. For color beyond red, a fuchsia farshi lehenga in gold, or a tangerine lehenga under a shocking-pink long shirt, sits closer to our pink bridal lehenga range.

Shoulders, Chest and Trail

Several blouses have structured or architectural shoulders, which only work when the shoulder measurement is right. A cropped choli needs accurate bust and underbust figures. A farshi lehenga is measured to the floor so the trail spreads evenly. Heels change that length, so decide on shoes early. When the selected design allows it and a customization option is available, a plunging neckline may be raised. That can also provide a more covered Nikkah option without changing the core silhouette. Independent of Shazia Kiyani Studio

No outfit here is made or sold by Shazia Kiyani Studio. We are not the studio’s official retailer or its distributor, and we neither represent it nor hold any partnership or affiliation with it. What we make are inspired versions, not Shazia Kiyani originals. Our workshops count bridal wear as a core specialty, and experienced embroiderers there handle the zardozi.
