Design & Silhouette

This ivory bridal lehenga choli pairs a cropped blouse with a broad, flared lehenga and a long organza dupatta. The choli is tissue silk, with a sweetheart front neckline, a round back and short sleeves that sit close to the arm. Small floral clusters and reflective points cover it densely, gathering most compactly across the upper chest and along the lower edge. It ends above a narrow, ornately embroidered lehenga waistband, leaving a clear division between the two ivory pieces.

The tissue silk lehenga is built from 14 kalis with panels and cancan, giving a wide, floor-length ghera without a trail. Elongated floral and paisley-like formations repeat up the skirt in tall vertical sequences. Each holds small pink and red blossoms, green leaves, curving stems and gold-toned scrollwork, and a thin strip of open ivory separates one from the next. Toward the hem, the repeats give way to several densely embroidered horizontal bands that mix scrolling patterns with compact repeated ornaments.

The single 3.5-yard dupatta is matching ivory organza, sheer enough for the layers beneath to show through. Fine branching vines with small blossoms and spaced leaves are scattered across it, leaving generous open ground. Its kiran-lace border is built in layers: a slender bright trim, a broader maroon band worked with pale gold interlaced ornament and tiny reflective accents, and a dense gold-toned kiran fringe. The same finish runs along both long edges and the lower curved ends.

Ivory inside a maroon margin

The firmest line on this dress belongs to the dupatta. Its maroon border, set with gold latticework and kiran fringe, runs from the head down both sides. Inside it, the sheer ivory organza sits like an old miniature within its painted margin. As the deepest color in the outfit, that edge draws the eye up toward the face.

The field itself stays open: thin branching vines, plenty of clear ground. Below, everything tightens. A short, closely worked choli ends at a narrow embroidered waistband, a clean break that gives the broad ghera a definite starting point. Tall floral-paisley formations rise up the skirt in vertical rows, their pink and green held inside metallic outlines. Slim strips of plain ivory between them keep all that gold from merging into one sheet.

Near the hem the verticals stop, and several horizontal bands stack like the ruled lines at the foot of a page, giving the full skirt a weighted base. Color stays rationed throughout. That restraint keeps this ivory Baraat lehenga choli composed rather than loud.

Occasion & Styling

The Baraat is this outfit’s first setting: the full ghera, heavily worked hem and head-framing dupatta suit the formality of the day. It also sits well at a Walima, where the ivory ground and sparing color strike a softer note. Explore more Baraat dresses and Walima dresses for both events.

Wear the dupatta over the head so the maroon border runs down both sides of the face, then let its length spread over the skirt. Gold-toned and pearl jewelry echoes the gold in the border, and a small touch of deep red or maroon ties the look back to the dupatta edge. Jewelry, the handbag and other accessories in the photographs are for styling only and are not included.

You stay in control until it ships

Watch it being made

Ask us at any stage and we send photographs or video of your actual outfit — from the first sketch through the embroidery frame to the finished garment. Ask as often as you like on WhatsApp.

A complete video before it ships

Before the parcel is sealed we send you a full video of the finished outfit. If a detail needs adjusting, tell us then and we make the change where it is workable. Nothing leaves us until you have seen it.

Exactly what you see

The photographs and video on this page are of the outfit we make — the same fabrics, the same handwork, the same weight in the hand. A screen can only carry so much: it cannot show how the zardozi catches light as you turn, or how the ghera moves when you walk. That is why we send you a video of your own outfit before it ships, so you judge the real thing rather than a photograph.

Sizing & Measurements

Choose a standard size, or select Customised Size and we stitch to your own measurements at no extra cost.

Your size or measurement details are provided before checkout is completed, which is why production can begin the day after you order. If a measurement is unclear, send it to us on WhatsApp before you submit it and our team will confirm it with you.

Size guide and how to measure

Care

  1. Always put paper between the layers when you fold it away. Kora, dabka and nakshi are metallic wire, and the fabric underneath them is fine. Every time the outfit is opened or folded, a stitch on one layer can catch the layer pressed against it and tear through it. A sheet of tissue or plain paper between the layers keeps the wire work away from the cloth, and it costs nothing. Use plain paper rather than newspaper on pale or ivory fabrics, because newsprint ink can mark them.
  2. Store it folded, not hanging. A heavily worked outfit is heavy, and months on a hanger pull the weight onto the shoulder seams.
  3. Dry clean only. Hand and machine washing damages metallic embroidery. Tell your cleaner the outfit carries zardozi, dabka or similar metallic handwork so it is cleaned by hand rather than by machine.
  4. Keep it away from direct sunlight and damp. Perfume and hairspray go on before the outfit, not after.

Questions About This Outfit

Can the design be customised?

Yes. Most customers ask for the design to be made a little more modest — higher neckline, longer or fuller sleeves, more coverage at the back, a longer shirt. Tell us what you want changed on WhatsApp before you order so the pattern is cut correctly the first time. Colour, embroidery colour, sleeves, neckline and length are all adjustable on most designs.

Will the dress look exactly like the photographs?

It will be very close, and we do not compromise on the embroidery or the fabric. Two honest exceptions: the colour shade can look slightly different because of studio lighting and your screen, and because every customer's height and body type is different, a pattern may need to be adjusted so the design sits correctly on you — on a shorter frame, for example, part of the shirt pattern may have to be re-cut. Ask for the final video before dispatch and you will see the actual garment before it ships.

Can I return or exchange it after delivery?

No. Every outfit is cut and stitched for one customer, so it cannot be resold or swapped for another size. That is exactly why the review happens before dispatch: ask for progress photographs and video at any stage, and for the complete final video before your order ships. An order can still be cancelled before dispatch — the windows and deductions are set out in our return policy.

Is there any extra cost on top of the price shown?

No hidden charges. The price you see is the price of the outfit. The only additions are the ones you choose yourself: Rush or Super Rush delivery, and any paid add-ons such as jewellery. Each is priced clearly before you pay.

Can I get matching jewellery with this outfit?

Yes. Matching earrings, necklace and related pieces are available as paid add-ons on this product — select them before you add the outfit to your basket and they are made and shipped with the same order.

Can I get a matching hijab or an extra dupatta?

Yes. Both are possible. Message us on WhatsApp when you place your order and we will tell you exactly how to arrange it.

Is Rush or Super Rush delivery available for this outfit?

Yes, on bridal and groom wear. The Estimated Delivery Timeline box near the top of this page shows live dates for Free, Rush and Super Rush against today's date, so it is always accurate for your order.
